Pinterest and other obsessions

I finally joined Pinterest a couple months ago. I'm HOOKED. I've always been a sucker for design magazines, and Pinterest is like a free magazine that I can look at whenever I want to. I also love being able to search by a specific category or "Fireplaces" for example. I've also had fun with the fashion and craft idea boards and know I'm only scratching the surface of what's really out there. 

The fact that I can tag things I find on my own is really great too. I used to copy and paste idea pictures into a word document, but then forget where they came from if I needed to reference them. Here are a few pictures I've found recently that I love.

  You can find ideas for practically anything on this site. Gardening, cooking, art, photography, you name it. So much fun, but a warning is that it's soooo addictive!

Something else I've been loving lately is thenest.com
I used their sister site The Knot when I was planning my wedding and loved all the helpful features there. The nest is fun because you can do anything from meal planning to decorating advice, to help with figuring out mortgages and health issues. I love the message boards. Seriously you can post almost any question you can think of and someone will usually know the answer. I was able to learn the best way to go about selling my old iPhone, where to find coupon codes for online stores, got a couple book recommendations and more. The Nest also has a fun blog and ideas for decorating and a huge recipe section. Another place I can kill time with no problem.
